He thought he'd found a shortcut, but infact found a dead end. The Trillium in the walls had made his comm worthless here. It took him a while to make his way back and head for where the group went.

He actually received the sound off comm.

Just in time(Passed RS check) both duck as a heavy MG (Atleast 14mm) opens up. The badguys down the cross corridor scream as their own friendly fire catches them.

Tghe Dralasite staggers, dizzy from the toxins absorbed directly into his bloodstream through his skin. He bumps into the wall and goes down just as Ricco and M.D. dive back and collide with him. He barly hears the MG reports as he begins to loose consecioness. When the enemy scream from thier own fire, Red fishes into his backpack and tosses a packege through the deadly intersection! He yells DRAL Gasmask!!

Ricco catches it and quickly unwraps it and puts it over the limp form of his comrade. Although he looks like a deranges beachball, he is grateful and quickly recovers.


Fafhd yells, " Squad Assault! Split! Red, Dos, LEFT!! Us Right!! Grenades!!" Red yells "Affirm!!"

Red tosses 2 Frags to the left, (His right) And Dos and Fafhd toss 2 more to the Left!!

The blasts are defeaning in the confines of the corridor (Capacious as they might be, they are still not outdoors) Fafhd and Doscharge one way, weapons blasting, and Red and Lugnut go the other.

There is return fire.

The gas seems to be thinning.

rico makes sure that Q is okay before standing up and charging after the others (he will move in the same direction as red).

all along trying to get in touch with beth on the chronocomm. BETH BETH DO YOU COPY?!

M.D. reloads his weapon and continues with the others.

BIC: Not knowing where the exit is, Euryale decides to follow the yazirian who stopped her from getting shot. Anyone that would help another being out like that must be relatively trustworthy, she thinks.

"HEY!" she yells to the yaz over the ringing in her ears from the grenades going off in the corridor. "Who the hell are you guys?!? And for that matter, who the hell are you fighting? I've been here as a prisoner for weeks, and they didn't tell me anything!" Nothing like a conversation in the middle of a firefight, she thinks.

@ Scabbers: The Dral is fine, recovering quickly and says so.

@ cpanthersfan: There are several guys in brown jumpsuits behind an improvised barrier, Bundels, barrels, shipping crates, whatever they could grab fast and pile up. They start shooting wildly but somehow miss everyone in your group. Red dives down and lets off 2 Gyrojet pistol rounds and screams "DOWN!! Return fire! Mooks ta th' left!!)

@ Obispie: Just as you ask the question of the YAZ, the Huma tackles you and says in a Nasal twangy voice (Think of MeatWad on Cartroon Network, or Shmoo if you know who he was.) "You are needing to be getting down. He fires twice from a Rafflur and says "I are StarLaw Ranger Multzchilde Fafhd of Glaxx. We are being disrupting a criminal attempt to be subverting the rightful Government of this system! I and my partners were being under cover for months and were getting nowhere untill yesterday. I are not knowing why you were being held, but will see you freed as soon as this furball are being over!"

M.D. takes cover and return fire covering for Rico.

rico pops up from cover long enough to throw a "willie pete" grenade at their opponents, then quickly ducks down behind cover.

FIRE IN THE HOLE!!!

@ Obispie: The opposite direction from the fight would take her straight back to "Her" platoon around the bend, and coincidently, also the direction of her cell. Fafhd says, "If you are being able to hit the side of a UPF Destroyer with out shooting yourself in the foot, then fire at them, I are having no reloads for you, so maybe you are being better off to be staying low and behind us until the uglies are being dealt with and saving your bulletts for emergencies."

@ Scabbers and cpanthersfan: The fire comming in is lessening and you can hear Fafhd and Dos's fire on the other side of the crossing corridor. Your military training tells you that this is a very bad place to be in and you wrack your brains to come up with a plan.

M.D. hears Rico and dives and takes cover. After that, he shouts to Rico, "RICO!! WE GOTS TO GET OUT OF HERE!! RADIO FOR TRANSPORT!! I'LL COVER YOU!"

A tremendous explosion down the main corridor rips away all the commonications you all just tried. The verbal stuff was just drowned out and the comms still don't work. It was real hard to breath for a few seconds after, but all the enemy fire has stopped.

In other words,

BAAARRROOOOOMM!!!
