Laser Beth arrived at Triad because the spaceliners do not generally dock at Rupert's Hole. She got in system just as the Martial Law Decree went into effect and no shuttles from off planet were allowed to land on Rupert's. She is searching for a way to Rupert's Hole to find out the status of the missing FNN reportes and the general situation on Rupert's. She is also a trained psychologist.
