I want everyone to express an opinion here.

Should I continue with Fafhd as an Non-Player Cagracter oppf temporarily remove him from the game. Mostly I just want Keep or toss votes, but any opinions anyone has are just as welcoome.

This is a question of how much you guys trust me here. I am a good GM with years of experience running games. I have almost always had an NPC in the groups I ran, mostly to balence out a party(e.g., if they didn't have a medic, or a good fighter, I'd run one to help the party.) I can be fair to your characters. But, if most of you feel more comfortable with Fafhd out of action while I run this it won't hurt my feelings. Very Happy *much* Very Happy

I started this because I've always been the GM and never gotten to be a player. I look forward to Goze coming back!

Let me know. If someone doesn't want to post publicly, PM me. Either, or both, is good. Very Happy Laughing

I dont know you very well...but your character shouldnt not be ousted simply because you are DM-ing now. I play in another game where a DM has a character that is in the party and it has been really fun.

So I for one vote NO. Unless it becomes a problem for you, keep playing your character. It will likely make the whole game that much more fun not to mention interesting.

No reason for it, just "reduce" him to NPC status until Goze returns and reactivate PC status when that happens. As ref, you make all NPC decissions including Fafhd's.

Keep your character in the game man. I've played plenty of games where the GM also has a character in the game. Don't worry if i feel you are treating your character more favorably (which i doubt you will do) I'll definitely letr you know! Very Happy

Also when those times roll along where nobody seems to "get it" it's good to have someone on "our side" that does LOL

Seriously though, I've never reffed a game that didn't have a character of my own involved somehow, it seemed I always had a NPC "helper" or two in every party. Add to that, an established history for a character adds flavor to any campaign, and that history expands with the group as it the adventure continues.

Besides, that "yet one more immortal charge of Fafhd and Dosärmas" just wouldn't be the same!
